MEF MOBILE ENTERTAINMENT FACTORY BECOMES MOBIVENTION

mobivention (formerly known as MEF Mobile Entertainment Factory)

Cologne, 7 January 2008 — MEF Mobile Entertainment Factory announces name change to mobivention.

In 2003 MEF Mobile Entertainment Factory GmbH started with the production of ringtones. In the following years the product portfolio has been extended with the new content areas – „graphics & video“ and „games & applications“. We always tried to balance licensing contents from suppliers and in-house production. 

2007 shows accelerated growth (approx. 50% compared to last year) and the closing of a significant number of additional license deals. During the year brands like Rachael Hale©, Sad Sam® & Honey^TM, Valerie Tabor Smith©, Karen Dvorak©, Fulanitos® as well as AH-64D Apache^TM and F/A-18 Hornet^TM from Boeing have been added to the portfolio and successfully introduced to the market. 

The company is recognized as the market leader of Themes and NexGen-Wallpaper (wallpaper based on Flash lite and Java) and distributes its contents in 53 countries. 

After five successful years we will underpin this realignment with a new corporate name mobivention GmbH which will be immediately effective.
