The Flash Platform delivers rich consumer experiences on mobile phones and devices.

Since the introduction of games & applications on mobile devices, Java has been the leading programming language. Only on high end smartphones C++ applications found a niche market, mainly on Nokia S60 devices. Now Flash as a new technology for has arrived on mobile phones.

Since its introduction in 1996, Flash technology has become a popular method for adding animation and interactivity to web pages. Now Adobe Flash (formerly known as Macromedia Flash) is making the next step to mobile devices. Leading handset manufacturers like LG, Motorola, Nokia, SonyEricsson and others have licensed Flash technology from Adobe and have committed themselves to launch new mobile devices with pre-installed Flash player. In addition to that mobile network operators like NTT DoCoMo and Verizon Wireless have committed themselves to support Flash on mobile devices.

Based on the positive experience mobivention has made with Java games & applications it has taken the strategic decision to always produce a Java and a Flash version of every new game or application. In addition to that we are currently building up a catalogue of Flash games which support the leading mobile devices. To do so we are cooperating with a number of Flash studios which have developed Flash games for the internet and are now interested to bring them to the mobile world.
