Flash Lite Wallpapers

Wallpapers on .gif or .jpg format are already well known on mobile phones. With the introduction of Flash Lite technology on mobile phones new opportunities are arising.

Next Generation (NexGen) Wallpapers - or Flash Lite Wallpaper - are not just a different file format, but they offer the opportunity to combine active components with graphics or pictures. Technically NexGen Wallpapers are produced with Flash Lite and partially J2ME. While doing so mobivention has created the following genres of NexGen Wallpaper:

NexGen Wallpapers can also purely be used as real animations on mobile phones - either as background wallpapers or screensavers. This keeps the display of the mobile in motion. Advantage of the real animations are the higher framerate which makes the animations more appealing than normal .gif animations. Real animations are available in Flash lite.

Does the clock on your mobile phone bore you? Then you need to make it more exciting with a Mobile Watch - based on Flash and Java technology. With this new type of wallpaper you do not only have a static wallpaper but you have it combined with a watch which is available in different designs.

What about a calendar on your front screen? With our Flash calenders you are always up-to-date and will never forget an important date.

Another cool idea is time-based wallpapers - based on Flash technology. With this new content type you install a wallpaper which shows different styles during the day – e.g. sunrise in the morning and moonlight at night.
