Shake it - product innovation hits the international market

Cologne (Germany) – 2 September 2008 – About 18 months ago mobivention started with the distribution of Flash lite wallpapers and has been getting remarkable response from mobile network operators and handset manufac-turers since then. The brand new product called Shaking Wallpaper based on Flash lite is a set of wallpapers which can be changed just by shaking the mobile phone. This is a revolution for users to individualize their mobile phone on the go.

Adobe® Flash® Lite™ is developed specifically for mobile phones and consumer-electronics devices. Flash Lite dramatically accelerates the delivery of rich content and browsing as well as customized user interfaces.

mobivention started in December 2006 with amazing screensavers, mobile watches which synchronize with the clock in the mobile phone and time-based wallpapers which change the background wallpaper based on the time of the day. The first launch customers for these products have been mobile network operators in Hongkong and Czech Republic. Since then several mobile network operators have integrated these products in their mobile content offering.

Based on the new technology of motion sensors in Sony Ericsson handsets mobivention has developed various product innovations in Flash lite. One of this innovation is the Shaking Wallpaper but there are more product innovations such as this in the product planning and will be launched during the next months.

Sony Ericsson itself starts with the distribution of this Shaking Wallpapers in the Fun & Download portals and also in the new platform PlayNow™ arena which is accessible via the mobile phones browser.
